Appointments

• Our appointment only surgery times allow us to see patients in a timely manner. If the surgery is fully booked, but a problem is URGENT, particularly for a child, please advise our receptionist as we do hold appointments every day for urgent problems.

• For routine non urgent appointments, you can of course request your chosen GP. For an URGENT appointment, this may not always be possible, so we will offer you our next available appointment with our next available GP.

Our reception staff are important members of the practice team and it has been agreed that they should ask patients "why they need to be seen"

We have trained our reception staff to ask certain questions to help make sure you receive:

    1.the most appropriate medical care

  2. from the most appropriate health  professional,

3.   at the most appropriate time. 

Reception staff, like all members of our team, are bound by patient confidentiality.
